On the "to do" list?


What's on the to-do list this week? SLEEP - lots and lots of it. I may be like you...I don't even come close to getting enough of it - 5 to 6 hours a night max, and I make it - but am definitely not thriving!
So I have been told from Shawn and Amy at Flex that it is of much importance that I sleep as much as possible this week as we begin barbell weight training...yikes!
So it is my goal this week to be in bed with my boys by 8:30 or 9pm each night. That is 2 hours before I normally go to bed - I am not 100% sure I can do that because it takes a shift in schedule when you are used to having "me" time then and getting everything ready...laundry, dishes, food etc...for the next day - but I am going to try this - it's one of those things that can't hurt me...=) And that is why we have VCR's - because I absolutely have to watch Lost!! =)
Weekend was good....I spent much of it at home - scrubbed down my shower, caught up on laundry - you know - all the exciting things you dreamed about doing when you were 12!! =) I watched a good "girlie" movie - I haven't had a chick flick fix in a while... so I took care of that...and yesterday during my "cheat day" - I ate homeade chocolate chip cookies till I thought I was going to puke...I love Sunday's!! =)

yup, don't fight it- your body NEEDS sleep! I know there are so many things to do and so little time but there is a study that shows your immune system actually declines by 60% with less than 7 hours of sleep!!!! YIKES!!!! So GO TO BED girl!! :)
