Time does fly -

I can't believe that it is spring already...my mom used to say - "just wait till you have kids, time will fly by and you will wish you could make it stand still!"
I always wanted time to go faster when I was in junior high and high school, now I want a few more minutes to sleep, a few more minutes with the kids...a few more minutes to get ready in the morning...ok that one hasn't changed much in 10 years! Do you ever feel like that though? Just another blatent reminder that my mother was right =)
I am in week 8 of my 17 week journey with Flex Fitness Cener in Holland....I LOVE this week of training. I feel comfortable, I feel like I know what I am doing - I love that feeling!! I am so much stronger than I have ever been and my arms are starting to shape up a bit...still waiting to get rid of my "muffin top" =) but I am SURE by the time the 17 weeks is over - I will have no more waggly arms and no more muffin top...that's my goal!! =)
Food is still a challenge for me - I know I have the dedication to change my lifestyle and I think I am 75% there - but I so easily give into temptation - especially when I am tired and convenient wins the battle over fresh and healthy. I look at my lifestyle and LOVE the changes - the fact that I have carrot sticks with lunch when I used to have a few york peppermint patties! I still struggle with the mid-afternoon cravings and late night snacking that I am tempted to do - but I have found that if I have a little extra chicken or turkey with dinner...or one more helping of green beans - that I lose that need to eat late at night...so I just keep working at it!!
