YEAH!!! I love March Madness...not a typical "girl" response, but I love the big tournament!! I participate in the bracket...even won it (JQ Grand Champion 2003, thank you very much) and follow it with all the enthusiasm of a...I don't know - I just have a lot of enthusiasm!! =)
Anyways, if you care, I chose Ohio State to take it all. My husband and I were both born in Ohio, both fiercely loyal Buckeye fans...and both afraid that if we DON'T pick Ohio State, that we won't be allowed to re-enter the state for at least 7 years so that was a given....I usually do pretty good in the brackets, I don't go for the typical #1 teams...I love looking for the upsets, but for the next 2 weeks I get really stressed out which is so silly!!
Anyways - we have that going on - and I am just amazed at how soon we will be working our way towards summer!! May thru August at JQ is CRAZY - I try to have a quiet April and a quiet September because my life is not my own during the summer! So I am looking at how busy I plan to be and enjoying the quietness of right now. We veg'ed out with the kids last night and watched Princess Bride on AMC. Halfway thru the kids say - "this is boring" - once again shooting down a movie my husband and I liked growing up...we will just add it to the list along with the Original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Any Charlie Brown cartoon, Old Yeller, and Swiss Family Robinson...maybe they'll appreciate it when they're older =)
Workouts have been going well this week - been EXTREMELY hungry over the last 3 days...feel like I am pick pick picking at everything in sight - and for those that commented that I might be pregnant due to my wierd food cravings (praise the Lord I am NOT!!), my appetite has returned to normal...except for those English Muffins - those darned things are simply incredible!! =)!!
